FIRE’s ever-expanding constellation of believers and advocates gives students with intellectual and developmental disabilities an opportunity to aim for the stars – academically, socially and spiritually. In classrooms, at Mass, on the playground and beyond – kids know they belong and are loved. We’ve traveled light years on this journey, but there is still so much more to do. FIRE needs our support to continue this important work and to respond to increasing demands for inclusion resources. This year, FIRE is granting nearly $850,000 to make it possible for 501 students with significant learning needs to learn and grow alongside their siblings and friends in our wonderful faith-based schools.
