Resources for Educators
Scholarships
Teachers are the foundation of our children’s success in schools. The FIRE Foundation is pleased to offer scholarships to Diocesan educators who pursue studies that strengthen their capacity to provide inclusive learning opportunities. The FIRE Tuition Reimbursement Scholarship provides opportunities for classroom teachers to learn techniques and current best practices in special education. These scholarships are limited in number. Applications will be considered by a board scholarship committee and reviewed in order by date received.
Reimbursement will be considered for continuing education courses in areas related to:
- Inclusive Education
- Co-teaching
- Sensory Integration
- Method courses in Special Education
- Speech and Language
- Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy as it integrates with classroom learning
