Every Single Soul: The Case for Inclusionary Approaches in Catholic Schools

Session Description

Disability is not exceptional but a natural condition that must be anticipated and prepared for in parishes and schools. The essential question becomes: How do we prepare ourselves and our students for the time that we experience disability?  By hiding disability, we give the message that there is something wrong or disordered about the disability. This presentation presents a case for why inclusionary approaches are not only for the student with a disability but positively impacts all students.
