Mary Desmarais is an independent consultant who started her teaching career at a Catholic high school in Arlington, VA. There, her passion for inclusive education was reignited. Building upon this experience, she founded Catholic Inclusion, LLC, a consulting agency dedicated to helping Catholic schools include and educate students with high support needs and disabilities through various inclusion models, including the use of peer support arrangements that integrate students of all abilities. In addition to her consulting work, Mary offers teacher coaching and professional development, providing educators with tools, strategies, and the support they need to foster accessible classrooms. Mary earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Scranton, her Master of Education and Human Development from George Washington University and her Master of Administration and Supervision from Marymount University.
