Dr. Matt Braun is a Speech-Language Pathologist who owns and runs a private practice that provides speech and occupational therapy services across the Kansas City Metro Area. His team of 17 speech and occupational therapists provides in-home and community based services to individuals and families with a variety of needs. In addition to these services, his team works with a number of public and private schools to provide direct services as well as consultative services to support the needs of teachers and students. Dr. Braun has a cooperative partnership with the FIRE Foundation through which he and his team provide speech therapy services, occupational therapy services, and educational consulting services to ten of the FIRE partner schools in the Kansas City area. Dr. Braun and his wife, Sandy have three children, all of whom attend or have attended Catholic School. Their passion for inclusive education stems not only from their professional work, but also from their personal experiences fostering inclusion in every environment for their youngest son Luke who was born with a medical condition that resulted in him having a number of special learning needs.
